Last Friday, the RB Sapporo team had our very first team dinner and indulged in the local specialty known as “shime parfait”. In Sapporo’s vibrant nightlife scene, this delicacy marks the perfect conclusion to an evening of fun.

Following a delectable feast of Yakitori and beer, we ventured to a shime-parfait cafe called “Sinner”, conveniently located just a minute’s stroll from Hosui-Susukino station Exit 1. Here, amidst laughter and camaraderie, we savored our very first “shime parfait,” toasting to the opening of the new Sapporo office and the memorable evening we had shared.

As we leap into 2024, the entire RoomBoss team would like to extend our warmest wishes to all of our valued partners and clients — from near and far.

Ghosts, ghoulies, and little monsters were out on the prowl in Hirafu town for Halloween 2023!

Despite being utterly terrified by all of the incredible costumes and outfits worn by the kids (and big kids alike), we would like to thank everyone that dropped-by during this year’s Hirafu Halloween — it was an absolute treat!

The 2023 Niseko Classic has come to a close after another inspiring cycling spectacle—and in its wake of sweat, tears, and triumph, we look ahead to next year and eagerly anticipate an even stronger turnout.

The Niseko Classic has long since cemented its place as a premier cycling event in Japan, with 2023 marking its 10th year of attracting thrill-seekers, enthusiasts, and professionals from around the world, all eager to test their mettle against the challenging routes while indulging in the region’s breathtaking beauty.

For us, being a sponsor of this extraordinary event not only promotes collaboration locally and further afield, but also exemplifies our commitment to fostering a vibrant, season-spanning sporting community in Niseko. Exciting information about Niseko Cycling Events in 2023!

Niseko Classic 2023 has 4 types of races: 150km Road Race, 85km Road Race, Time Trial Race, and Niseko Yotei Fun Ride. The 150km and 85km races are official UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifire events, and are supervised by the Japan Cycling Federation. Your road to Glasgow/GBR, the host cities of the 2023 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships begins in Niseko!

Niseko Gravel is a gravel fun ride featuring a combination of paved and unpaved roads with 3 different leveled courses. Brief explanation of 3 courses are: 115km long course with about 2,200m elevation gain and about 49% gravel, 63km middle course with about 1,200m elevation gain and about 43% gravel, and 41km short course with about 780m of elevation gain and about 22% gravel.

A big congratulations for new team-member Alix on his successful completion of the Hokkaido Marathon last weekend.
After months of dedicated training and one final day of gruelling effort, he now takes his very sore and substantially slower legs on the road to recovery.

On an unrelated note, Alix has now moved to a ground-floor desk after reports of congestion in the 2F stairwell.
