Manage the Permission for Charging to Credit Card Tokens with the New User Role: "Charge to Token"
Within RB accounts, individual users can be created for each staff member with different permission levels, allowing administrators to control which system features each user can access.
We are pleased to introduce a new user role: Charge to Token. This permission allows administrators to manage which users have the authority to charge guests using credit card tokens stored in the system.
This new user role can be managed by Super Admin users from the Users page.

Menu Consolidation
We have heard your feedback and we took action! In order to improve your experience and make more sense of navigating the Menus within RoomBoss, we have consolidated some functionalities to more intuitive Menus. The updated layout is designed for RoomBoss veterans to find what they are looking for with ease, while also guiding new RoomBoss Users to easily navigate RoomBoss to get your business up and running.
Listing Availability Search Feedback
We’ve enhanced our Booking Engine to offer valuable hints to potential guests searching for availability at your accommodation. Now, guests will see helpful information, like the minimum number of nights required, to quickly determine availability — and much more! These upgrades will not only enrich the guest experience during their search but also help you capture more bookings by ensuring no potential travelers slip through the cracks.
Up-selling & Cross-selling
This exciting new feature can increase revenue while also helping customers to target services that suit their requirements.
Up-selling: Based on rules that you control, customers can be encouraged to replace an item in their shopping cart with a higher-end version.
Cross-selling: Also based on your rules, customers can be encouraged to add items that are related to or complement an item in their shopping cart.

[PMS] Rates Audit Report
The Rates Audit Report provides a new way to view rates and occupancy across one or more properties.
It generates an Excel download containing rates, restrictions and occupancy. See our Help Site for more information.
New "Simplified View" Option for Manual Guest Services Bookings
It’s all about speed and efficiency.
With Simplified View, you can quickly select the Category and Type using a straightforward dropdown menu, bypassing the more detailed select menu with icons and descriptions.
Simply, check the box at the top-right of the manual booking page to enable this new view.
This efficient layout is perfect for the users and agents who are familiar with the products and want to minimize the time spent on each booking creation.
[POS] Connect Your POS to a Customer Display
We’re excited to announce that you can now connect a customer display to RB POS system! This new feature allows users to present important information—such as the product pricing, booking total, change due etc—directly to guests during transactions.
Enhance customer interactions and improve transparency by using the customer display to keep guests informed throughout their experience. This upgrade is designed to make RB POS system even more effective and user-friendly.

[POS] New Room Charge Functionality and POS-only User Role
As you may know, RB offers a POS for customer-facing sales. Our POS provides a quick and easy way to sell non-accommodation products and services. It’s integrated with Square Terminal for payments, and Epson thermal printers for receipts and tickets. Two exciting new POS features were released!
New Room Charge Functionality
In addition to charging by credit card etc, now PMS users are able to room charge. Rooms that are checked-in can be selected for charging. Guest name(s) are displayed to help ensure the right room is charged.
POS-only User Role
It’s possible to provide a user with access only to POS (no access to other parts of the system). This can be appropriate in situations such as a hotel restaurant that’s operated by an external contractor. Our POS allows them to room charge, while avoiding access to any PMS functions.
As well as limiting a user to POS, it’s possible to limit which vendors they have access to. In the restaurant case, this allows charging for meals while preventing restaurant staff from purchasing ski lessons etc.
